Physix Gear makes some of the best-fitting compression socks at this price point. The 20–30 mmHg compression is the medical-grade standard recommended for varicose veins and travel swelling, and the moisture-wicking fabric keeps your feet comfortable all day.
20–30 mmHg is the standard medical-grade compression level recommended by doctors for varicose veins, DVT prevention during travel, and general leg swelling. It's firm but not uncomfortable. If your doctor has prescribed a specific compression level, follow that recommendation.
Physix Gear socks come in four sizes based on shoe size and calf circumference. Getting the right size is important — too loose and they won't provide adequate compression; too tight and they'll be uncomfortable. The moisture-wicking nylon blend keeps feet dry even during extended wear.
Compression socks are harder to put on than regular socks. Turn the sock inside out to the heel, slip your foot in, then roll the sock up your leg. A sock aid tool (sold separately for about $10) can make this much easier if you have limited hand strength or flexibility.
