About DigitalTribe

We Test It. We Trust It.
We Tell You About It.

DigitalTribe is a product recommendation site built for people who don't have time for hype. We research products across health, fitness, mobility, pets, gadgets, supplements, and personal finance — and we tell you straight what's worth buying and what isn't.

The DigitalTribe team reviewing products

Why we started this

We got tired of product recommendation sites that were clearly just affiliate link farms — generic lists with no real opinion, stuffed with whatever paid the highest commission. You'd read a "best blood pressure monitors" article and have no idea if the author had ever actually used one.

DigitalTribe exists because people in their 50s, 60s, and 70s deserve honest, plain-language recommendations from people who understand their actual needs. Not condescending "senior-friendly" listicles. Not hype. Just: here's what works, here's what doesn't, here's the price.

We cover seven categories — Health & Wellness, Pets, Supplements, Mobility & Comfort, Fitness, Gadgets, and Money & Finance — because those are the areas where good information makes a real difference in daily life.

How we pick products

Every recommendation goes through the same process. No shortcuts.

We research before we recommend

Every product on this site gets a proper look — customer reviews across multiple platforms, expert opinions, and where available, clinical or lab data. We read the one-star reviews too.

Real ratings from real buyers

We pull ratings from verified purchase reviews, not press samples or sponsored posts. If a product has 4.2 stars from 40,000 buyers, that means something.

We flag the actual cost

Subscription traps, hidden fees, and "free trial" gotchas get called out. We list the real ongoing cost, not just the intro price.

Third-party testing matters

For supplements especially, we only recommend products with independent testing from USP, NSF, or similar certifiers. Marketing claims without data don't cut it.

Our commitments

We do

  • Research products thoroughly before recommending them
  • Disclose affiliate relationships clearly
  • Update picks when better options emerge
  • Flag subscription costs and ongoing fees upfront
  • Read negative reviews, not just the glowing ones

We don't

  • Accept payment to feature a product
  • Recommend something just because it pays a higher commission
  • Make medical claims or replace professional advice
  • Promote products we wouldn't use ourselves

Affiliate disclosure

DigitalTribe participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means that when you click a "See Deal" link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.

Affiliate commissions are how we keep the lights on. But they don't influence which products we recommend. We don't accept payment to feature products, and we don't rank products based on commission rates. A product that pays us $0.50 per sale gets the same honest treatment as one that pays $50.

We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We also work with other retailers and brands directly.

If you have questions about our affiliate relationships or editorial process, reach out through our contact page.
